I don't disagree, but IF they were determined to do it so that everyone present got a decent amount of screen time and a chance to play, then they should NOT have set it up pitched it, advertised it and curried viewership from the pitch that it would be a Twitch-plays style event over which the viewers would have control. That was deeply dishonest, and puts them in poor light. It is not the first time they have done this, and it shows a deep disregard for their audience.
That's quite fair. Swen could have been more honest and simply said "Look, viewers, we dressed up 8 staff members and send them on a trip. It's not fun if they just end up sitting out the entire time. We have to let everyone play at least a little."
That said, while I don't know your personal circumstances, I think your reaction to Swen's behavior is an overreaction. You seem to be reading a lot into his character from limited-context information.
