OMG that MTG art is so bad. Is that what people like these days? Everything looks vibrant and comical- like a 13 year old drew the stuff. Or the art director got advice from his grand-kids. Instead of more than scary/atmospheric

That reminds me of a friend of mine who complained that new StarWars trilogy is aimed at children… as if the originals weren’t. IP don’t always grow up with their audience. I don’t have much DND experience, but as far as I remember they always looked very corny to me. Toyified Tolkien so to speak.
