By the way.
Not only is WotC updating the stats and looks of all the dragonborn (I am still unsure if they will replace the current ones or be a option), they are also heavily advertising gem dragons and their dragonborn variants

Especially as Larian has not implemented dragonborn yet it wouldn't make much difference in using the new look instead of the old one (although the new look is much more varied).
If Larian implements Dragonborn at all. I am still not sure about that.
