That is a magical spell. Spells are supposed to have a mystical feel to them and that word was fine. Kroxy might have thought it was stupid and that may be an appropriate response considering how he is but personally, I thought the word was fine.
A bad game design point is to punish the player for HIS/HER humour by selecting the wrong answer or question during a dialog such that the whole quest is lost forever with no way back for correction, while taking liberty at showering the game customers by humour.
Although I might agree that a whole quest shouldn't be lost forever because a player has selected the wrong answer or question, there is still nothing wrong with adding a lot of humor to a game. No offense but your statement almost seems to imply that Divine Divinity had a sarcastic feel to it. I don't think that is true.
