I love that Commander Zhalk's sword no longer does the typical "Character as Playable" downgrade and instead kept the sword flaming! The only problem is that my character now cannot sheath it. Anytime I try to switch out of combat mode, he keeps just carrying it and does not put it on their back.

I've experienced the same problem. I gave the sword to Lae'zel, now she sits and stands around in camp, waving it about like she's trying to take someone's eye out.

Once more I am falsely accused of whatever it is that I am accused of. Falsely.

Honestly, i believe this is not bug ... but its intented. laugh
If you think about it, that sword is actualy burning, permanently ... and its not just gamemechanic effect, its written on its description ... it kinda makes sence, that your character dont want to put it on his, or hers back. laugh laugh laugh

In (some?) cutscenes it will appear on your back though - flames and all. For instance talking to Shadowheart on the beach after waking her up.

Anyway, holding it with own hand is still pretty stupid tho. :-/

It highlights the fact that halfling animations and poses are still largely using unfitting anchors and settings designed for full-sized characters.... Considering the work they're putting into animal animations this is something I find increasingly upsetting as patches march forward.
