Meh to each there own, just something I'm used to in d&d games, thought it was done pretty well in Pathfinder: kingmaker the little bit I did play of that game.

Ya, tags would be cool, I did like the Solasta Tag system, and would like to choose something else besides Baldur's gate as my home town/city.

Flaws would be a interesting feature, something that gave bonuses and negatives. Starting to remember fallout new vegas now : / but I'm pretty sure there was optional material in d&d at least in 3.5 don't know about other editions.

I was more referring to the section in the PHB on Backgrounds... the personality tags is almost the same thing but a bit more simplified. When you choose your background you choose two personality traits, one ideal, one bond, and one flaw. There's a list of suggested examples you can roll on or you can just choose or make one up. I tend to find that a much better way to figure out your character's sense of morality and motivations than alignment does.
