The drow helm Shadow of Menzobarranzan doesn't cast the spell, in fact the animation is stuck. The gith are able to track you when invisible, and strike you.

If you were wearing prior to hotfix, take it off and put back on. Fixed it for me! Also sometimes the skill works but the invisibility appears as if it didnt. Your character is visible but has the invisible buff so it worked.

Yep - have the same issue. Playing post hotfix. Neither the animation nor the buff happens.
