Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Deprecated version Honor mode lost save file

My game crashed just into Act II when exiting to main menu. I can find the save game but can't load due to "deprecated version".

This is my third play through and second Honor mode play through. Was supposed be my "become squid, save Orpheus" game. Any fix for this or should I just consider the game finished?

Kind of irritating the game saves both locally and on cloud and both are inaccessible.

Also having this issue, but for me it was somewhat later into Act 2. I e-mailed Larian support and was told it's being looked into and they already know about it. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the info! Guess I'll put the game on hold for now and hope it's fixed by the time I return to it. I can't be bothered to do Act I for the Xth time, just feels like a chore with all the running around.
