Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Dead MC

I was attempting to see if I could kill Commander Zhalk ( I didn't) and during it my MC got knocked down and was making their save throws, but I knew that I couldn't win do I had one of my party members activate the transponder. When I completed the cut-scene I found out that my MC is dead and I have no followers to interact with, I had to reload.

Gotta be a little lucky to get that sword, if the mind flayer misses more than 3 hits gtfo or be prepared to use every items you can get from the tutorial. Don't be greedy, don't linger. That sword is nice but there's better weapons later on.

Best weapon at Level 1, only for people with Disarm ability at Lev 1.

Nope because I am not posting because I couldn't kill him and want to know how, I am posting because my character was dead after the crashing cut-scene and the game was pretending I wasn't dead (no game over screen at all), even though I was only bleeding out before the cut-scene
