Do not listen to the negative people.

I have played MMO:S World of Warcraft and Neverwinter MMO which both are well done.

You need to understand some things if they make a new Dnd MMO.
A. It can not be turn based combat. It would be most lkely Action combat. People who say that can not be good should simply avoid MMO:S. I liked the combat part in both World of Warcraft MMO and Neverwinter MMO.
B. In MMO:S usually the norm is that. there is endgame and not like Guild Wars 2. No in both Neverwinter MMO and WOW MMO there ie everlasting GRIND to become more powerful with characters. If max level is hit then they constantly add new exapansions with new ways to increase in power which can also be done with items example better armor and weapons.
C. They will need to get money so likely it will have subscription fee pay /month or have pay to win elements like Neverwinter MMO. In Neverwinter MMO you can access all the content without paying, but either you play it really many hours or pay with money to have easier progress.
D. A MMO can take many years. IF they develop a MMO relased date could be example year 2024-2027.
E. Now this game BG3 to MMO?
I do not believe it.
Larian have not give any indications to that. Yes it is cooperative play up to maximum 4 people, but Larian has not told there will be even PvP possible so far at least. If they would really make a new MMO likely it is not tied to this game though it is not impossible they could use same kind of graphics like in DOS2 or BG3. Example if another studio then Larian would make MMO perhaps they could buy the graphics engine from Larian.
F. MMO projects can also get cancelled so before we see something concrete from an upcoming MMO do not get to excited.

I never quit Neverwinter MMO due to bad combat (though Dnd 4th is hardly my favorite Dnd edition and during level up I looked at guides). It was the everlasting grind.

Now Neverwinter MMO does not have subscription fee. It is PAY to WIN absolutely. However as free player playing for more then a year I managed to get best mount and pretty fairly good gear.

In PvP Neverwinter MMO it worked out well they had system if you loose much you are matched against easier opponents in battlegrounds. If you win much you get harder opponents. In Neverwinter MMO there is only voluntary PvP in battleground instances.

The reason I quit both World of Warcaft MMO (WOW after over 3 years) and Neverwinter MMO (Dnd 4th edition Action combat after playing it over a year) it is to TIME SINK you can play it 40-60 hours /week and get addicted and then you get bored on it eventually and it is an everlasting GRIND to get more powerful characters.

Now after all this I do also like turnbased combat, but in MMO:S it would be action combat more or less and it can not be people pause the combat.
