I've found the most potent combination to be restoration potion and hellspike5... I get as many enemies as possible, the whole dungeon floor if I can and get them together and kill them all with 2 potions. In the last dungeon I got so many monsters that my screen was filled with them and using hellspikes constantly actually lagged my system... I was counting the experience hits as best I could and I counted over 40... and I'm sure I missed some. The battle took about 15 seconds and 2 restoration potions. It was fun but way overpowering. I would have had more enemies but they just wouldnt follow me, theyd get hung up on corners or obsticles or whatever. Was fun though.
