I'll have to agree with you in regards to the Werewolf and Vampires due to the fact that I dealt with enough of both in Skyrim and I never cared for either one of those.

Skyrim handled werewolves and vampires poorly though. That's not a fair comparison. Morrwind gets the feel of a werewolf pretty well (can run on all fours). And some DND games have you changing into a werewolf.

There's nothing D&D about Skyrim. Skyrim is a first person hack and slash game that can be cheesed with stealth archers. It's like comparing a game like S.T.A.L.K.E.R to Call of Duty. Or risk to Hearts of iron.

I didn't really care much for Skyrims werewolves either. Much preferred morrowinds. Skyrim "humanized" everything. Even oblivion changed how Argonians walk. As a result it feels less uniqe. Like trying to cater to a "normal" way of doing things instead of going more "out there".

Haven't seen how werewolves play in BG3 yet. Though I did like how BG2 handled it. Coming across one in the forest which isn't just evil and can be talked too. Things like that go a long way.
