I've had the impression the spiders are better with their teleporting in patch 5. Before, after destroying the web they'd sometimes get stuck on the lower cave level. And the little ones wouldn't teleport at all. Now they all jump into the battle.
Shadowheart is still able to solo the queen with a crossbow and Pass without a trace, though. She really is the "daughter of darkness".
