It didn't seem different to me as well. As for babies teleporting, well, the adults shouldn't be able to either. They are Phase Spiders not Misty Step Spitters. But hey, if Larian is going to have Phase Spider adults porting all over and spitting poison, why not magically summoned babies? After all, it is obviously magic she uses when she forces them to hatch. So if they are hatched via magic, they might just magically know how to Misty Step.
But, either way, they did this pre-patch 5 for me too.
