is there a way to change my special skill ?
i like the wizards ability to move from one place to another via magic
my character is a thief and i really don't get this crawling thing that she does as her special skill
what is it good for?

The special skill of the survivor is for not to be seen or detected.

It's like kneeling (almost) while still "walking", but being much smaller while that.

There is no way to change special skills; they are class specific. The survivor's sneak skill can be used to avoid monsters (or get close and attack) or to improve your chances of successfully stealing. See differences between classes (minor spoilers, I believe the exploit mentioned for the survivor's sneak skill was fixed in the latest patch).

yes, that would be nice. or make a new special skill up.

Gah, why did you pick a survivor then??? I mean THE difference between the characters is the special skill. The stats and the skills you can get by leveling up!
Sorry if I might sound a bit annoyed but I am somehow angry at the moment(nothing to do with DD)...

EDIT: Saw the post about character differences. Forgot about it. Still, the special skills is the *obvious* difference between classes.
