whew, ya' know how Virgo was saying his family was murdered by the blood ring? I want to be one of their helpers, like a mage/thief/warrior. Like in <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />, ya' know the Black Ring? I'm a mixture of Moriendor/Conrelius and chief orc/thief guild

what else do you need before I make a practise post?

Like i said, what will your char contribute too the story and the group. How you see your char evolving in the story. Like you were 'forced' to help them fe. Also make sure your char isnt to powerfull.

Like your sword (kills if toutches) is a bit too powerfull imo. Maybe it has a certain percentage of doing that like 5% chance to kill at once or so.
Those orcs under your command, is not a bad idea it just seems like your somekind of god (again too powerfull).
Keep that in mind when you write. It will help alot.

yeah, the swqord I only get later, and it makes for exiting sword fights, but I only find it later in the story, I start out with just a magic wand, the orc I try to conserve, for I don't have many, I like to keep them in my castle fortress. but in the opening post, I'm sending out scouts to look fore the sword. and i am mad that Virgo got away from my orcs.

Something i just thought of. If your going to be a member of that clan, i dont see your char stay long in the story.

Think of something or someway to extend your char so it can keep going after we solve "the black ring member quest".

Also keep in mind that, as your char is now, you are a man of 'power' and we dont really like that (at least i dont <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />, unless it is used for good).

Maybe a little hint: try to be yourself in the story. I mean make your char very mutch like yourself. You can have some things that are not 'You', but most of it should be you. It is easier to write and to make a contibution to the story. At least thats what i do. It makes it easier to write and to imagine the story.

yeah, after you brake up the blood ring, than I run away, with like 20 orcs, and you kill them, and hold me hostage, and I join your group, or someones group. you start going after the blood ring, and when you attack me, I see Virgo, and he starts chasing me, and I run for it.

Muahahahahahha its sooo funnnnnnnnnn only bad side its done multiplayer by gamespy........but i got over that after I registered. Well I don't work saturday and sunday. Well Lewis all you say about your char and quest sounds good, but you're whole story is based on other ones. I mean your char doesnt have anything unique. Something that makes it that char. Fe, for me it was the murder of my family and the sword. After that it chanced into the romance with Willow.

I cant find anything like (not completly) that. I mean you're to mutch depending on another char. You dont have anything that makes that char 'unique' or 'you'. You're build to mutch on another char. Witch has it good sides, but also it bad sides. Make sure you have something to build on except the black ring.

Long ago a well respected and successful mercenary group that’s business went far and wide across the land. The mercenary group fought in old wars some ancient and others forgotten. Not many remember the original name but a select few who lived through those dark ages remember the mercenary group as The Band Of The Silver Ring. The Band Of The Silver Ring had now started to take different policies on issues and were now ruled together as one by many different warlords, wizards and shamans.

my character has a voice in his head, and he keeps going back and forth bewteween good and bad, so he's very unstable, and crazy; flaming mad.
He's been promised to be healed by the blood ring, so he's a member of them, and does there dirty work. he's trying to get a voice out of his head, and he's greedy, very greedy, for money. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />
