[*]level cap - there are a few things in the early access which are just about impossible, like surviving talking to the githyanki, and it seems a bit weird to include something that you can't get through, even if you've done everything else, and you've got the best equipment on offer

Dude. It's Early Access. Level 5 would be nice for testing. However, your own inability to survive encounters sounds more like a "you" problem rather than a "game" problem as personally, I've found a few fights challenging but nothing that didn't make me wish for a significantly harder difficulty and ironman style mode (apart from it being EA and possibly bugged for save purposes).

[*]restricted area - it's been a very long time since the game was first released as early access, and I was disappointed at how little content is available, and all this time later, while I appreciate the need to fix bugs first, there's still no more content available

Yeah, why don't they just release the entire game now for you to play yeah? Oh wait... it's early access... ah, that might be the reason...

[*]items out of reach - too many items are out of reach, and even if you climb onto 1 - 3 boxes, you still can't reach them, and I mentioned this many months ago but it is still the case

This is a bug, will hopefully be fixed in coming patches.

[*]limited party size - it would seem that having only 4 people in a party at any one time also makes certain encounters quite hard, and it also serves to limit the way I play it, because while I might be interested in playing with certain characters in my party, I cannot choose them without removing another, so I don't get to really experience those characters without going through the whole game again, and I personally find that a bit boring, because I have seen it all before, and as I said in the other point above, there's quite a limited amount of content available still

Sounds like you need to learn to play the game or take more time figuring out the mechanics rather than assuming this is another MMO where you can smash your face on the keyboard and kill mobs. Have you never heard of replayability? If you could pick everyone from the first time, why would you repeat the game? Replayability is a massive factor for alot of players and they would rather have variety in their adventures with BG3 rather than just "one playthrough with minimal variation."

[*]map zoom and pan - I'm not sure if you've fixed this since my previous comments a long time ago, because it still seems like the map viewing isn't all that good, because it is a little too limited in zooming and panning, and there's also not much in the way of helping one orient which way you're facing unless it just happens to be obvious from the map ... in certain areas, it's very hard to tell which way I am actually facing on the map
[*]camera gets stuck between levels / altitude or around structures - this was a problem months ago, perhaps a little better now, but still needs a lot of improvement, when climbing up and down things, or moving around large structures, the camera can get stuck ... the camera should be considered an object able to pass through structures, so that while the view might be obscured, it doesn't ever get stuck

This is an issue with most cameras in Larian games, hopefully they will work on fixing it.

[*]fireplace under selune's temple - it is clear that the fireplace seems to be intended to move or something, and perhaps the bellows next to it is supposed to do something too, but after many attempts, I cannot see the purpose for it, and clicking on it does nothing, yet the cursor change does indicate something is supposed to happen, but no indication given as to whether I am somehow missing something, or is it just an undeveloped part of the early access that will do something later

Theres alot of somethings in your statement but it's lacking one important thing. Any sense.

[*]revealed objects - sometimes when a hidden or concealed object is revealed by perception checks, because of my camera angle and position, I cannot see what it is or was, and no matter how I zoom and pan the camera, I cannot find it ... I think there needs to be some kind of autofocus function which will turn you around to face the thing you just discovered, so that you can't accidentally lose it if you happen to move the camera at the same time, and then give back control of the camera AFTER the thing has been revealed

Hopefully they will add a feature to address this with use of the "alt" highlight button to assist those who are visually challenged (myself included sometimes) to highlight objects/items found by perception checks.

[*]save game disabled due to unfinished dialogue or something else - occasionally in the past, and it has happened once again now that I have played the latest patch, where some unknown action seems to be unfinished, and I am unable to do any quick saves or full saves, and there's no indication how to escape this bug by going back to the unfinished thing ... the only possible clue I had was that at one point when in camp and going to sleep, a message appeared too briefly to read, and all I could see of it before it was gone, was that it seemed to be saying "accept" or something similar, but very hard to get my eyes on it before it is gone ... so this bug remains, and that message may or may not be related, but it's the only thing I could think of which seemed to be going on at the time

A bug, i've had this. Simple solution. If playing via steam, just close down BG3, close down steam, start the client and you should be able to save without any issue.

[*]items changing who is holding it - I gave that magic book with the face on it to Gale, but it keeps returning to my main character without me doing anything

Did you put the gem in the mouth of the book? If not, he can't make use of the book.

[*]better clues for workbench - you've put all these workbenches in the game, but aside from the sussur bark and a small number of weapons they can make, they don't seem to do much, it would be nice if you could do more with these things, like for example, disassembling an item to learn how to make more of them or something like that

This will take time. Will happen likely.

[*]organisation of books, letters, notes etc - with all these books and notes we find in the game, it would be nice to have a better way of storing them, and if there was more things in them which reveal interesting clues or things to add to the game content, and a better way to search them for text

Since when has reading not been the best way to search them for text?

[*]will early access remember experience earned so I can play a character onwards later - given the time taken to go through all the content so far, and the annoyance of having to repeat things, it would be good to know that once we reach the level cap, that it is nonetheless recording our experience gained, so that when the level cap finally goes up, we haven't lost all that experience, and don't have to go through everything yet again with a new character, and this would allow me to go back to some combats I decided to avoid, given how hard it was to survive them ... but the downside here of the level cap is also that even if it does remember that experience instead of losing it, it's possible I might jump a level, and I don't get to experience being that level with that character, which already happens with characters not in my party

You're in for a world of disappointment. From everything. I hope you remember to brush your teeth and wipe after going number 2. I know repeating things can be annoying!

Quote
[*]no forum or FAQ article on version update beyond early access - it would be nice if you could put up something in the forum to keep us all updated on when we might be able to expect to see something beyond the early access, even if it's only an estimate and you have to keep updating it, because I really would like to see well beyond the maps currently available, and experience higher levels

Patience is a virtue.

[*]training - I think it would make the game more interesting if we had to find a trainer / master to actually access skills available at new levels, rather than just having these things assigned ... computer games often lack the depth of the paper and dice version, and there's nowhere near enough problem solving in the game, I prefer to be really mentally challenged

Lets not bring in your MMO fantasies into the world of DND.

Every time I go to the githyanki, no matter what choices I make, they kill Laezel before she manages to do anything much, I can restart the battle many times, and most times she's dead long before anyone gets to do anything ... it takes several restarts just to have her still alive after the initial initiative round ... so I don't know what you're doing to make them very killable, but it's not giving me that option ... the only way I can imagine getting it done is to go back to camp, and keep bringing back all those barrels of smokepowder and oil, and setting a massive trap for them, but which will sacrifice laezel at first until resurrection, but the problem with that is that it doesn't seem realistic to do so, and I would need to turn up without her at first and get it all set up in stealth mode ... otherwise it's just more of the same with everyone dying after a fairly short battle

Sounds like a challenge just isn't your cup of tea sunshine.

- goblin bombs exploding in my face: when you throw one of the bombs, it is far too easy for it to hit something in front of you, but arrows never do this, it seems like there's something wrong with the throwing mechanism, and you have to be really careful exactly where you stand before throwing

Here's an idea. Check the trajectory before you throw. Forethought and all that!

Quote
- climbing / scaling walls skill - it would be nice if we could actually attempt to scale walls or climb things other than nets and ladders, because when those things are gone ( burned, exploded or whatever ) you end up a bit stuck, and the only option is jumping, plus it would allow more creativity when it comes to strategy around things if there were more places we could go within the same content ... imagine for example a character scaling a wall, and then even if there's no top surface to walk on, being able to go sideways to get past someone

This is amazingly something I think actually makes some sense. The ability to climb would be fun. However, I can only imagine how difficult that would be to implement for the developers and while it would make another great use of the athletic checks, perhaps even only in certain sections are more "scripted" events, it would certainly be cool. Going sideways to get past someone however again is branching into your favourite fantasy worlds. Yes, it might be possible but also seems largely unneeded.

- the passage of time, day and night: there's no real sense of the passage of time, no sunrise and sunset, and I think the world we are playing in deserves these kinds of features

Wow. You got one right!

One of my big complaints with world of warcraft has always been that they never developed this climbing skill, and yet due to the way the game engine runs, if they only developed it, you'd be able to climb all sorts of places ( including trees for ambushing monsters ), and one of the things I used to love to do was really just exploring the 3D world they had created, to see the amazing views from different vantage points ... it would be nice to have this feature in the game, so that you could really appreciate the scale of the world from new vantage points, along with all the lighting effects of sunrise and sunset

Of course you were a MMO player first and foremost...
