My man is probably a poser. He got captured by a bunch of goblins, and spent who knows how long getting stoned by kid-goblins.
Did he tho?
Is he really poser, or sucessfull infiltrator? :P
His goal was not to fight the goblins (at least not originaly) but to get inside the temple and search for entrance to underdark ...
Once he seen that Aradin and his group was runing, he transformed into bear and let them capture him (even if they would try to kill him, no harm can be done to him, since druids return to their original form with full HP
... not sure if that aply for fighting him in that prison tho) ...
His plan worked, he managed to get inside the temple and had minimum guards around him ... all he needed to do was to wait, until everyone will leave, then turn into mouse or ferret or w/e small animal he do (and he do, you can see it when you talk to him after telling Minthara where the Grove is) and simply leave the cage and start searching for the entrance ... you could see that Goblins were ignoring all those rats, so he could blend between them easily. :P
Then few kids showed up and throw rocks at him ... it might be unpleasant, but again, no real danger ...
Then, when we showed up ... we either start encouraging kids to actualy hurt him, or we want to attack goblins ... either way his cower would be blown ... therefore since that moment there is no reason for him to remain there, he decided to free himself ... wich, as you could possibly see was no problem for him.
