Is it possible to insert in a thread a picture directly from the computer ?
If someone can be kind enough to give guidance how to do this, it could be great

Put that link in you comment.

Note that if it is a large image or you want to use multiple then it is good practice to hide those images inside a spoiler tag. That way people can click to show images but aren't forced to load an entire collection of 50 images in beautiful 4k just because they clicked on a topic.

As an added note to that - If you're ever making a detailed thread that involves many images, there's a hard cap on the numer of images that can be displayed in a single post - it's 10. More than that and the rest beyond ten will automatically reduce to their address, and not display.

the BBcode is the trick. i was trying to post a bunch using the insert image link and it just ends up with a bracketed URL
