Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems PC (Steam) - Ipad Cross-Save problem

Hi, I'm totally new to the game so I might be missing something here.
I'm trying to use the cross-save feature between my pc (steam) version of the game and my ipad pro. Here is what I did:
- Created a profile say "MyBrandNewProfile1" on pc, played the tutorial chapter and then saved.
- Launched the game on iPad
- linked the steam account the 1st time I was prompted to do so
- The app shows "Steam profile MyBrandNewProfile1 has been selected"
- The window select player profile window shows up asking me to select/create a profile but none is available

Not sure if it is related but every time I launch the game on iPad I have been asked if I want to synchronize the save games with my steam account and of course I select yes. But the same problem as above happens.
