(proficiencies aside)
- why use a dagger over a short sword?
-the only time i see myself using a short sword over a rapier/long sword is if a want to dual wield and not get a certain feat
-why use light over heavy crossbow
-why use short over long bow
and so on . .
i feel like there should be something take makes players choose weapons with lower damage other than RP. like:
-make daggers give an attack option during dialogues using sleight of hand. or make it use only half a poison bottle when coating
-maybe give short bows a toggle function to increase initiative while reducing range.
-maybe give bonus damage to consecutive hits when dual wielding short swords
-make it so that only longbows gain bonus with height (or better bonus than other ranged weapons)
-weapon type exclusive ammunition
