the gog definitive edition seems to be the culprit, we cannot get a 2-player coop game to work both using gog. always the same observation; the client has extremely high latency in character creation (initially up to 20 seconds) and after character creation the screen stays black while the client uploads ~20kBps to the host which is about 4 times the download.
