Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Sword in Aleroth

I'm sure someone asked this early on but I can't find it. When clearing the area around Aleroth, u come upon a sword lying on the ground. Ur character then goes:

"Hmmmm... There's something familiar about this sword."

then nothing afterwards. You can't pick it up and it has no description. Is this important for anything that I haven't encountered yet or is it just fluff?

i dont think i've seen this sword myself.... if it's not too much trouble, are you able to take a screenshot of the map around where the sword lies? or describe where it is (in a bit of detail)?

It's the sword of the beginning video, NW of Aleroth. The point were you woke up with the cat sniffing at you.

It got welded to the gound by the seering blast of light. Well, that's my theory.

Why would you want a bent sword?
You can't even pick your teeth with it!
