Clearly your standards of what counts as exciting info are different than mine.
The way it was being talked up I was somewhat excited for the possibility that Larian would prove me wrong by releasing some new companions and quests or other classes alongside sorcerer.
A subclass that a lot of people were pretty much expecting doesn't really hit that button for me either.
Were people really expecting wild magic? I felt like that was extremely exciting information, as I saw most people saying they figured it wouldn't be in right away.
Not to be super negative,, but I certainly wasn't expecting anything considering recent patches.
If I were to guess a class it would have been paladin or bard based on NPCs in game.
After knowing it was a sorcerer though? Yeah. It seemed like a lot of people were talking about it on Reddit (or steam or both) from what I gathered. I just kind of take a quick couple minute look when I'm having my morning coffee before work.
