Why did they change the effects when the tadpol is talking to you to an effect that hurts your head and spins? you can't concentrate on the dialouge anymore when it talks to you
It would be good if they would change back the characters, give them back their spice, especially shadowheart, she doesen't have any personality anymore
Make the settings lighter instead of darker, changing the setting to brighter is not the same thing, it doesen't give it the same quality, changing to darker manually is more realistic looking then when you manually making it brighter The game should strive to look like blood and wine, not diablo, blood and wine looks way better, and blood and wine is more original then the thousends of game that has you fight through dark settings

I would like to add 2 more things ... Let us engage combat with Astarion during first conversation, it was perfectly immersive to be able to attack him once you get from his grip ... instead of once you finish talking with him and seemingly accept his apology. -_- I know you can still attack him with companion, but some Gith of us dont allways have companion at that point.  Allow us to place on hotbar spells with specific spells level, or effect. I personaly do not need option to waste level 2 spell slot for Mage Armor, Longstrider, or Create Water.  Nor i need to choose wich Ability score i wish to affect with Hex, since it dont seem to have any practical effect. -_- So option to place on my hotbar specificly Mage Armor - lvl 1, or Hex - Wisdom, would be much appreciated.
I still dont understand why cant we change Race for our hirelings.  Lets us play Githyanki as racist as they trully are!

In terms of attacking in conversation, it might interest you to know that on the bottom left of your screen, where some of your buttons are during cutscene dialogue, one of those buttons is a crossed sword icon (or a sword of some sort). That's the "I'm done talking, attack them" button, and it's always available.

The original faster dice rolls that actually felt and sounded like a dice roll.
The super slow addition of numbers with sparkly animation is so annoying!

That is exactly the problem ... It isnt anymore.  Huh... I've never used the button, but I'm still surprised that I missed its removal. I stand corrected in that case.

The super slow addition of numbers with sparkly animation is so annoying! Yes! You can spacebar past it, but if you do, it doesn't do the addition correctly. Those die rolls should take .5 seconds, not 3+

Those die rolls should take .5 seconds, not 3+ I've noticed that as well. When I keep clicking to skip the roll animations, it often ends up having the wrong numbers.

I do want an instant die roll setting. At first, the animation is fun. After 2 or 3 times, it gets old.

Seconding that as nice as the new UI is, it needs to be snappier - that was my complaint with the original rolling die as well. It's nice the first couple of time,s but for something that's happening a lot, it takes far too long to go through.
I wouldn't be against an options menu toggle though - "shortened die rolling animations" so that people who like it and want to see the sparkles every time, can still watch them, but once you're done with it and just want it to process quickly, you can toggle it to a snappy, short display that only takes about a half a second at most. (in fact, that would be my preference, over forcibly changing it. Options for players is a good thing)

I dont mind the idea itself, that is good and i like it ... what i dislike it placing it into options. Maybe im just crazy, but sometimes i just want to enjoy all those rolling and sparkles explosions ... but then, i have times (usualy when i have to reload bcs i died and i go through exactly the same conversation) when i dont want to watch them, bcs i just want to be as fast as possible where i just was a minute ago.  Therefore i would like to have that option not hidden somewhere deep in menu ... But right there next to dices. Some kind of checkbox i can check or uncheck anytime i want (or not) to "skip the animations" ... I know you might say something like all you need to do is press spacebar and you will skip the animation, and that is true ... but sadly, it have same unpredictable effects as when you skip conversations ... usualy when i skip animation, i end up with bad roll without option to use my inspiration and that pisses me off. -_-

That's fair.
If they could cross-link properly, you could have it formally in the options menu, so it's there if people go there looking to find it specifically, but also have a subtle and unobtrusive little check-box in one corner of the actual die-rolling ui for itself, shortened animations, that cross-informs the options menu tag and vice-versa.
And I really hope they fix their faulty logic that falls over itself and skips steps if you skip dialogue or animations.. that's just... it's just shocking, to be honest. Like, high school coding bad....

It might be intended ... I mean sure we are skiping it since we usualy heard the same conversation like thousand times allready (sometimes in few past seconds since we are reloading like mad just to eplore all options ... i dont do that personaly, but i heared people do) ... But when you think about it outside this context, the only person who will skip dialogue will be someone who dont care about the dialogue ... that person would probably not even care how will that dialogue end, and therefore would not care wich choice will be, well ... chosen. So ... yeah, its bad design and i believe we all expressed ourselef about it quite well in past year.  But theoreticaly it might not be a misstake, just bad design choice. :-/ It would be better to either remove it, or make it to toggle tho.

If you're on your nth playthrough, you know the dialog, and I can read the subtitle in a tenth of the time it takes them to speak it, so I'd like to be able to spacebar through the dialog after taking half a second to read what I already know to expect to be there

By the way, I'm pretty sure that you can skip by clicking with the left mouse button, not just with the space bar. I often skip rolls (and get bad rolls), and I never use the space bar to do it (I didn't even know it was possible). It might be intended ... For me, skipping isn't because I don't care about the dialogue, choices or roll results. Rolling animations just take too long considering that almost everything needs dice rolling. If there were less rolls or a physics-based system (to grab the dice and roll them for results), then I might not skip them, but when there are multiple traps, locks and dialogue events in areas, I don't want to sit through all of that faux dice rolling. As it is, it just makes the game take longer than it should to go through without adding much if anything worthwhile to it. They should make trap-disarmament and lock-picking similar to the perception checks (a dice icon pops up above the characters and shows if the rolls succeeded or failed). For dialogue, I just finish reading before the characters finish speaking, probably because I'm used to watching anime with subtitles (the characters usually speak fast, and if you don't want to pause or rewind, you have to quickly read the subtitles, or you'll miss what was said or what's happening).

You missunderstand me ... Even when i skip with mouse click, it oftens accept the bad outcome and deny me option to reroll using inspiration.
It might be problem of my mouse tho, since it sometimes double click even when i didnt ... :-/
