With the M1X MacBook Pro announcement happening next week, we can almost guarantee BG3 will be featured at some point during the keynote. The focus is on speed – and judging by how BG3 already runs well enough on M1 Macs, it could be phenomenal on their pro chips. Estimations are the MacBooks could deliver similar GPU horsepower to a RTX 3070… in a thin energy-efficient notebook.
Also, if the M1X-powered Mac Mini rumours come to fruition – that could be a way to get into the game at high levels of quality for little cost.
I’ve been holding off upgrading until after this announcement for the very reason that I want BG3 to sing on my next MacBook.
