I feel like it should be a thing that when you make a companion do an action for you the player character still gets approval points for it as if they had done the action.
I feel like making this change would encourage you to use all the party members like an actual D&D party without worrying about missing chances to get approval. Like “Ooh a magic book, I’ll let Gale look at it” or “Ok we need to be diplomatic, better send Wyll in”
I feel like doing this would also take care of the BioWare problem where the player character HAS to be a face as they’re almost always doing all the talking.

I would honestly much more like option for our character to act like actual leader of this group ...

Like litteraly have options:
[Arcana] Atempt to identify the magic book.
[Arcana-Gale] "Gale, could you look at this?"

I like this idea. it seems that it can be a solution for some suggestion on "switching talking character in conversation".

Its more like suggestion to force Tav leading the conversation all the time, and allow it to dedicate specific tasks for his party member, since he is a f*cking leader.

I dislike the idea for Tav taking aproval based on what others do, bcs from roleplay perspective it dont make any sence ... and also, i kinda like that this way you can easily avoid geting negative reputation yet, get what you want. :P
