I noticed something similar as well: After convincing Kagha to let Arabella go through persuasion and using my Sorcerer's Friends spell to get advantage, everything seemed to be fine at first and I talked to Rath next. Afterwards I noticed, that I had gotten into dialogue with Kagha again, albeit without the cinematic perspective. I *think* she was questioning me about what happened at the gate, but I don't quite remember and I was able to persuade my way out of the situation without a fight. I think I still have a save game from somewhere before that, so I can go and check again later today.
Yes, this is what happened to me. I could tell that Kagha was agitated and trying to talk to me about something when I tried to talk to Rath, but the game got hung up and didn’t show any cinematic or dialog boxes/options for either Rath or Kagha. Maybe because of the timing of trying to bring up both Rath and Kagha’s conversations at the same time? I hit 1 to try to unstick the game and Kagha and all the druids except Rath turned hostile. I guess I probably hit a hostile conversation choice by accident. Good to hear that it sound like there is a way to talk yourself out of this major plot point. Just need to clean up the bug of the Kagha dialogue not properly showing up at that point.
