IIRC, as a female char there is only one romance (the arogant brad of paladin wanabe) i cant remeber his name now.
actually i had the most fun with a romance to Viconia <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />
Mods fix that. Now we have tons of selections. Kelsey (the best NPC mod ever made, so far, IMO), Solaufien (I, sadly, don't appreciate poetry. But I like his character, all the same), Valygar, and probably others that I haven't been in touch with. Then there're additional options for males - Nalia, Imoen (yes, yes, I know she's your half-sister), Tashia, to name but a few.
??? I never noticed that there was any kind of romance going on at all! I must be the most oblivious person alive. I must have sped through that dialog sequence.
Well...
I think NPC interaction and dialogue are things that make BG2 as entertaining as it is. *shrugs* Oh, by the way, to initiate a romance, you must fulfill certain requirements. Viconia, for instance, won't romance an elf. Dwarves, gnomes, and halflings seem to be shafted, as well.
