Minthara is not a worse person for finding love, nor does it make her helpless or a puppy. Everything I wrote spoke of equality and partnership, not submission.
It would be nice, perhaps, if the sequence in question reflected that in some way - unfortunately, it does not, in any way: that, too, is part of the issue.
