Mostly agree, but to be honnest I think it's useless to talk about this because Larian wants their mechanics to look gamey more than realistic or immersive.
Coherence between visual, mechanics, story, world design (and so on) will probably never be a part of Larian's games.
I hoped Larian would be able to change their mind when they announced BG3 but they obviously think that making "silly" (they probably call it "fun") games is better than make them coherent.
