I am writing to comment about Gandrel interaction. This encounter does not make a huge amount of sense.
Gandrel Fails to recognize Astarion even when presumably, he should have a description. Astarion has visible neck marking, teeth, etc. How could he not even be suspicious
Gandrel seeks out an evil hag and is willing to pay a blood price, even when such bargains rarely turn out well and camping right near the hag's house it should be sort of obvious what happens to the people she helps, based on the bodies alone. He seems to know Auntie is a hag, and is willing to do that to fulfill a contract? He is a monster hunter. He seems more than willing to deal with monsters...
Gandrel is essentially capturing an escaped slave. He is a slave catcher. Being hired to kill a monster is one thing. Being hired to return an escaped slave is an entirely evil act, and yet he seems totally good with it.
Perhaps if Gandrel's intelligence was very low, it might make sense. But he seems clever, but deliberately dumbed down in the dialog. Even if conceivably he is under the glamour, why then does he know she is a hag?
It's all kind of strange.
I knocked him out, and left him there. He seemed misguided. It could warrant a review at some point, since it lacks consistency.
