So having found that there is a problem with targeting objects outside of combat or turn based, it's clear the game is currently unplayable on stadia via controller.

Literally spending many frustrating moments to try and interact with anything, it's just broken.

Also something wrong with the equipment select, you can't change equipment from the equipment screen, only from the inventory screen, and only on the character you have selected at that time.

Also the Camera is all messed up inside of combat, keeps jumping through the floor

Also you have to select Jump twice as the first time doesn't trigger targeting...

I only had enough time to try to change equipment once, so I didn't really pay attention at the time, but I had to change to inventory as well.
The targeting issue during combat seems to be related to elevation layers.
