neither do I, honestly, I was just trying to list what those shiny new items were doing, I guess ?
I like collecting stuff so, anything new is good to me, especially if it comes with a new material that looks as good as this one. but the properties are... well, it's "+1" level, I'm not sure it warrants the blue border

I agree they look kinda good ...
My dissapointment was in that we are unable to once again create whole set ... i dunno, maybe im the only one in this, but i just like when my character looks good, having Adamantine Armor, Steel Gloves and Leather boots ... well, it might be effective, but it dont look good. :-/
if you have the shield, the helm and a weapon, you can refresh the condition for the whole fight and even put it on multiple targets, this is not necessarily a waste... I haven't got to this part, all I did was spawning the items to look at them in game so, I can't know if you can have all of them... what I can say though is that you might be able to apply the adamantine material to anything if you are better than me at understanding how the item visuals are defined (the bar is low I would say ^.^') and apply it to a copy of the base metal gloves and boots. it might be a good combo for a tank, the -1 to touch might save lower ac party members.

This helmet for example is crazy ... especialy combined with this chest ... this boots ... theese gloves ... and this ring
its certainly worth mentioning that it all works even for heal from this neckage.
thanks for the tip, I was so foccussed on my own op modded gear, I missed half of those

But gear like this really makes your support class shine brighter than a sun. :3

And i think it would be shame to loose that, just so we get some dull "+something" effects. :-/
I absolutely agree and my mage with its 50 AC and +39 to hit also thinks that those +x bonuses are nice and all but it just lacks fun and diversity. on the other hand, some bonuses help, so... it's always a matter of balance

it might be possible, just string fun bonuses together, but it would be a legendary item, so, not at level 4 ^.^ for example, I have a belt that gives proficiency in everything, +5 to all rolls and allows dual wielding... but I guess it would still be more useful on some character than others. I also created a status effect that gives double haste + regen + immunity to surfaces (you know why) + 10 in every ability score + flight and, I must say, it feels like it is always useful but it also feels like it should be split between two or three different legendary items, yeah...

you also forgot to mention that there is currently no way to avoid the damage. on the other hand, we are only talking about 1d4+1 force damage on 3 darts and the more you upcast it, the less cost effective it is. but, yeah, I like this necklace, it is one of those always useful items you were asking for. I guess I am not the best at balancing things ^.^

it was worst in previous patches, it might get better and / or get a specific model, I'm not that worried, just curious

green items are just uncommon, giving it a name is always nice and is a nice change from "generic loot +1" (note that adding the +1 takes exactly the same time as giving it a fancy name... if you don't count the time spent trying to think of a good name of course)

Sice even non-magical basic helmet protects you from Crittical Hits, it kinda make sence if you ask me. :-/
Gauntlets are little odd tho.
- the metal helmet basic property is the one of an adamantine armor (uncommon),
- I spent way too long looking for an equivalent for the leather helmet and metal gloves bonus but those are rather significant since the closest item would be the ioun stone of Self-Preservation (Rare, attunement) which does that for intelligence but the luckstone (uncommon, attunement) gives +1 to all ability checks and saving throws so, uncommon ?
- metal boots make you better at shoving people, the only item that gives bonus to athletics is the Gloves of Swimming and Climbing (uncommon, attunement), it does a whole bunch more but the +5 bonus is situational

what I mean is most of those bonuses are usually found on magic items which might require attunement and you can't attune to more than 3 of them (which can't be doubles)(yeah, don't try to wear two helmets)
I know you didn't asked me but I'll still tell you that 300 is mighty cheap for the adamantine property since uncommon items in d&d are priced at 500 gold pieces (50 000 copper coins if you are trying to sell food and tableware to get those)

spellDC+ is the last property I need them to put in the game, I can only agree.

my main problem with items right now is the fact that the basic money is gold while it should be copper, this somehow undermines the value of everything but mostly the one of gold coins. the fact that mattis uses a copper coin for his trick and that the paladins of tyr warlocks of zariel have copper and platinum coins on the table gives me hope that at some point, we might see the economy for what it is in d&d : a huge mess with no balance whatsoever where you can buy beer for weeks with just a dagger. unless you are a heavy drinker.
