Getting harder and harder to find fun fantasy games these days that are NOT rated Mature with lots of stuff I don't like in games.

If they did do something like this, more like myself could enjoy it more without all the nasty bits. It's an awesome game, but I'm only 44. I'm not mature enough to handle the the nudity and vulgarity.

😇

Wait a minute. Now, I'm not sure if you are just trolling. Since you said you are 44 and not mature enough. How does nudity and swear affect you unless you are a very morale or religious person?

I'm not trolling. I'm both a moral person and religious. Trust me. I'd you read my other posts, you'd know I'm not trolling.

I love games like this, but the life and crude are, in my opinion, not necessary to the overall game and just make it harder for people like me to enjoy them. I don't normally have the ability to petition a game I really like while it is being created, otherwise I'd be doing this very same thing for other games.

Fantasy is my favorite genre. I'm a long-term D&D fan with over 25 years of experience as a DM, but I'm a clean DM. I don't do sex or excessive vulgarity in my sessions. We play for the story and the interaction and such. We play Star Wars style (original movies). Serious and exciting, adventurous and fun.

And more and more video games are moving away from that to sex and vulgarity. It saddens me because video game D&D is the only way I get to be a player instead of the story teller and referee.

Did Neverwinter Nights need this stuff? It had some, but limited. Nothing substantial. Same with it's sequel. Same with BG1 and 2 and Icewind Dale. I love those games, and it saddens me greatly that this game has to have such illicit sex scenes and now the unnecessary, and repetitive vulgarity in Grymforge where they repeat the same lines over and over again.

If I at least had a way to turn it off...

Oh, and I was kidding about not being mature enough. I just said that because some people think sex and vulgarity are a maturity thing as opposed to simply being a moral or preference thing. I'm a married man very much in love with my wife. I don't need pixel porn in my life... Or any type for that matter.

My parents were nudists, and I saw plenty of naked bodies growing up. It actually doesn't phase me in that regard. If anything, I'm desensitized to it. I just find it totally disgusting watching anyone having sex, and pixel representations of people having sex is even more unpleasant. Anytime it starts, I try to hastily skip. Sex is very private and personal, in my opinion, and I'd love it if more people kept it that way.

Kudos to you for being the type of person you are. The thing is that those things you personally don't like, is what sells the most. As the example I gave you previously with the game Grand Theft Auto V. One of the biggest money makers in games, has a lot of sex, nudity and vulgarity. It's saturated with it. It even has gambling. This is unfortunately what makes money and in business standards, it's good for business. The other thing is that these types of content actually has a big fan base. People like this stuff, even if you don't like it. Companies are going to side with the bigger fan base. The shareholders are going to see that all these sinful content makes money and they are going to chose to keep it. Like Rockstar the makers of Grand Theft Auto who will literally tell parent about their kids seeing nudity in GTAV, "Not my problem, you're the parent." They act like that why? Because the majority of the fan base likes it. You can ask for parental discretion but because BG3 has an ESRB of M, they are legally protected by that and are not required to make any changes.
