Mass murder, torture and enslavement are perfectly acceptable artistic paradigms but use naughty words, now that's just evil. Almost everything born on planet earth is a product of sex from plants to ...well you, so to be offended by its expression is somewhat paradoxical imo. What exactly is so offensive about human anatomy that it requires burring out? Genuine question. It isn't even a real person bare in mind, it is essentially the 21st century equivalent of a book. The graphical representation of a pen and paper game developed in 1974 intended to be a game of the imagination.

I am Christian I am not puritanical. Freedom of expression is the freedom to be offended as believe it or not to "take offence" is the expression from which this human right was derived. Having seen the horrors of war I gained a new respect for this freedom. When the realities of the world come knocking, naughty words and boobs aint gonna bother you.

I am uncomfortable with crude sexual vulgarity, not offended by it. I think it is probably best that there are filters for those with sensitive feelings but wouldn't this remove from the experience of an RPG? Just curious. If the genuinely evil Duergar spoken the queens English and paid their workers a fair wage with retirement benefits, paid holidays etc. then they would be the good guys right? Unless of course workers rights offends you ideologically for some reason? See what I did there? Everything is offensive to someone, nothing is offensive to everyone.

I do find it interesting that the Duergar and drow enslave, murder, sacrifice and torture deep Gnomes (or anyone else for that matter) by the thousand but the moral objection to their behavior is their vularity. I killed them because my imaginary character was significantly more evil than they were and figured meh why not. Then I ate them.
