Larian Studios Forums General Suggestions New post and topic notifications

So, I've been posting here somewhat frequently, and it's quite tedious to have to check topics I've posted in to see if they have new posts or not.
The red number next to the topics is sort of helpful, but it's not as helpful to me as other notifications might be.
I know there's also a setting to get emails for new posts and topics, but shouldn't there be a way to get notifications here as well?
If a dedicated notification section can't be added, I think that an option to have those notifications sent through Private Messages rather than through emails would be okay (I can't remember, but new Private Messages have an indicator, right?).
