Putting aside any general disdain that there may be for shoving as a mechanic... there's probably a bug with the goblins right now. They do seem to be able to shove better than the PCs can shove back. I'm wondering if something is off, like their Str or size is being miscalculated somehow.

Regarding the mechanic itself, I don't mind shove being in the game. I rarely use it, and it rarely ruins my game when it's used against me. But I can sympathize with people who think it's a little "superhuman" at the moment. Scaling the distance back might not be a bad idea.
But jump is another issue entirely. If jump is changed, there are suddenly problems everywhere. Maps would have to change. At the moment, there are distances that the characters need to be able to jump to navigate through certain areas. I get that the jumps are ridiculously long, but right now it feels like we're in for a penny, in for a pound.
If anything, I suggest that Acrobatics be used to allow characters to jump based off their Dex instead of their Str.
