I intimidated the tieflings. They agreed to leave. They didn't and just kept saying "what are you doing. Get out.". I freed Lae'zel. Damays and Nymessa attacked. I defeated them by knocking them out. Then Lae'zel said, "You like to raise that weapon to me? Let's see how good you are" or something similar. Then she attacked.

This happened in 4 player custom characters game with half Drow cleric, Drow fighter, Gith Ranger and human druid in wolf form. If that makes a difference.

Also, we came in from the direction of the crypt, so not on the path closest to the tieflings.

Sorry for asking but how do you manage to play 4 Custom characters?

Aradin's just did it now at the gate. Wondering if druid spells maybe cause the issue or something.

It's a trick I picked up from someone on Steam.

1. Start the game and get to the start screen. I recommend lowering graphics settings and using Windowed until you're finished.

2. Start a Multiplayer. Select Create. Choose LAN and check the Direct Connect box. Copy the Direct Connect code.

3. Pin the Larian Launcher to you task bar. Close out the Larian launcher.

4. Reopen the Larian Launcher and Start a second session of BG3.

5. At start, select multiplayer and choose Direct Connect. Paste the code.

6. Do this again for as many custom characters as you want up to 4.

7. Once you finish character creation and reach the first stage, save the game under the host profile, the original one you started with. After saving, the session is now ready for single player.

8. Close all windows but the host.

9. Reset graphics and Fullscreen.

Warning! Party of 4 is Max, so if you have 4 custom characters you can NEVER take any origin characters with in your party. All companion side quests like Lae'zel interrogating Zorru are unable to be completed.

But there are other fun things about it.
