It's far too heavy on the puzzle side to the point where your character levels don't matter anymore. You solve the puzzle i.e. exploit the aggro lock and pull a lever and then you can club him to death with a level 1 Fighter.

What good is an Eternal Guardian of the Forge who dies to a level 1 Fighter? Or a level 4 Fighter for that matter. In his own lair, which he was created to protect. Where he also doesn't know to avoid the "hammer". He should be using the hammer against the party, not falling for it. It's his turf.

I don't like this design that aims to make low level characters feel powerful and epic, taking down enemies far above their reach. I want my low level party to feel like a low level party so I can experience their growth to higher levels and feel a change.

I don't understand why Larian hates low levels and mundane things so much. Those must exist for epic high level content to feel epic.
