1. This is the suggestions & feedback sub-forum, so it's a little weird to be attacking people who make suggestions, and call them self-centered or whatever. If you don't like an idea, just explain why. You know...have a discussion.
2. I agree that while some things should be options, at some point there are too many options.
3. A simple counter that kept track of the number of days elapsed could be used by those who care about such things to push themselves, and to share their records with other people. Players who don't care about that could just ignore it.
