Having finally seen the Shadowheart romance scene and Gale's confession (yes, I am very late), I think it would contribute immensely to how camp scenes look and feel if the characters had a (customizable?) outfit that they wear at camp, with weapons obviously hidden (which the game already tries to do for at least a few camp scenes and dialogues).
It'll certainly be a lot more immersive to see people not wearing armor/travel gear during their downtime, and lying on a bedroll in full plate (or attempting to do the elvish trance) is just plain unhealthy. The dream scenes would look less goofy also, what with no longer holding your lover's hand wearing a metal gauntlet.
