Choosing to keep your cool armor on all times is one thing, but having regular clothing in the game or more than one appearance is of a different order I think. Armored vs Unarmored like your street clothes or formal/informal wear. Also Under Tunic or chiton vs Naked. Stuff like that allows for more types of immersion and engagement. At this point there is a real dirth of material on that score. Look at virtually any rpg where this kind of material is included and you'll quickly discover that many people love it and sometimes care more about cool aesthetics than even the stats when it comes to outfits and equipment hehe.
It's a bit demoralizing that we don't have an unarmored appearance or a way to choose some basic outfit colors at this point. All the Wizards and Warlocks and Sorcerers are pretty bummed, but this should be a thing for all PCs no matter the class or race. I'm sure there are badass unarmored dwarf outfits one might conjur up that might strike your fancy. Don't leave it for the mods the kill, build this stuff into the base game. This stuff will give the game staying power over time and provides an avenue to demonstrate growth with each new patch or iteration, when we see the new fall or winter fashions on offer hehe. Since char creation is something that players engage with immediately, having an outfit designer as part of that is a thing they can point to and say "See! We're working on stuff!" And then players get excited cause the new Dwarven threads are rad, and then they want to make another run. It's a hook that way. They should definitely make use of it.
