I'm wondering how people feel about the idea of adding a direct 3rd person (or even 1st person) character control mode outside of combat.
So I suppose it would look something like: Slightly increase the zoom level in over-the-shoulder mode (e.g. Witcher 3 style of camera angle) while directly controlling the character. By direct control I mean using WASD to move the character directly and using arrows to rotate the camera, rather than just controlling the camera and using click to move. Do you think this would add to the role-playing element of the game? Why or why not?
I personally think it would be great to have the option. Tactically it may not be very useful since you're limiting what you can see substantially, but when you're just running around the Druid's grove talking to people, it could be nice from an immersion point of view.
