This will look like trolling post but im serious believe me ...
I had same problem with my other characters (meanong i dont have druid rigjt now) ... and it helped me to click spell like an idiot before casting. laugh

Really ... instead Click on Action Surge and Cast ... wich caused me thia problem ...
I start clicking actipn surge like 10 or 20 times AND THEN cast ...

Belive me or not it worked. 🤣

I still dont understand why cant we change Race for our hirelings. frown
