Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Steam Update stalled, content file locked and can't play

After downloading the new update, steam installs and at 98%, it stalls and says content file locked.

I am in Asia, if that matters.

SOLVED:

Free up more space in the drive that steam library sits on.
Update again. Worked for me.
