I'm not sure I should say this, but your last letter really worried me. Why in all Hells would you tame a bulette? Just because you found it near Myrna's grave doesn't mean that that's a sign. I'm really worried about you, Lenore. A bulette is not a pet. Using it as a guardian is one thing, but you sound quite taken by it. I know you don't want to come back before you finish your research, but if you are feeling lonely, you know my door is always open.

Lots of love and hugs,
Amarith

PS: It really warms my heart to hear that you put the autumncrocus flowers on Myrna's grave. I remember she liked to roll around in them, even though she'd always sneeze after. She was such a soft, loyal dog. I wish there was more I could do.

I believe the the author of this letter to Lenore is Amarith Coopervein.

He is associated with the Emerald Enclave and appeared in the 5e adventure Out of the Abyss. This was apparently a very large adventure, scaling from 1rst level all the way to 15th.

It is also, interestingly enough, the first place where the Society of Brilliance is mentioned.

--the adventure also seems to contain slightly different versions of Blurg and Omeluum. Blurg, for instance, is listed therein as a orog orc, as opposed to being a hobgoblin.

--and rather than Omeluum, there's a mind flayer named Grazilaxx who was a) in the Society of Brilliance, and b) had a deal with a lich that allowed him to eat the leftover brains of victims. It seems clear that these two mind flayers share the same backstory, so it's odd that the name has been changed.
