Right now, stealing the idol results in the stupidest mess I could possibly imagine and I cannot even fathom why it would have been coded as such.

So, knowing the druids will go hostile if I steal the idol - especially as invisibility is totally borked - I go down to the sacred pool, get ready for a fight and snag the idol. Cutscene ensues, druids want to immediately expel the outsiders, initiative is rolled... for some druids. Others remain neutral, run off into the grove - through my characters' threat zones - and start slaughtering tieflings in real time. This is an example of the game exploiting not in combat crap that is equally problematic for characters. In multiple attempts I have taken out what they leave behind in a single round but by the time I start moving they have already reached Zevlor and company and if he isn't dead he has a couple hp by the time I join the battle and I'm still nowhere near where Zevlor and Khaga are by the time it pulls me back into initiative. Druids that START in the threat zone of one of my characters sometimes remain neutral on the theft of the idol and run off to slaughter tieflings opposed to dealing with the obvious culprits right in front of them.
