With the next PFH being confirmed (see other thread), what are your expectations for the PFH specifically (not the game) ? For me I would really really really be happy if Larian would:
- Announce in time when the patch will drop and make sure to tell us if some platforms will get the patch later than others
preferably also giving a rough estimation of eta to ensure people can avoid being totally spoiled on the new patch in case of delayed releases for different platforms. Given that setting an eta date is probably impossible for them, it would suffice if they simply shared a) if there were delays, b) which platforms will be delayed, and c) if they expect the rollout to be faster or comparable to the previous patch & if they will stick to the previous patch platform release order [pc, stadia, mac]
- Address the EA forum community by having a look at the 'megathreads' and to the extend possible at this time in development inform us of their decisions on these issues in order to reach a 'closure' on some of these topics (D/N, +4 party, RtWP, 5e deviations such as mages scribing all scrolls, or reactions).
I get it that some of these things can not be shared with us until release because they might get reworked later, but I don't think it is unreasonable to imagine that at this point in development Larian already decided if they will have a D/N or RtWP feature in their game. (I hope so at least, adding major features this late in development seems like a recipe for disaster). Although people might be disappointed, I think it is better to risk a backlash now instead of at release. Also it would allow the engagement of the community in EA to focus on meaningful issues rather than investing time in discussing things that have already been decided and letting expectations that will not be met persist.
- Have an open discussion regarding the future development until release and give us some insight into how much delay they experienced and/or still expect due to covid compared to their original roadmap.
People are getting impatient...

DM mode, splitscreen, console/tablet release, DLC, curated mods/expansion store for console/cloud platforms
