Like Jurak said Werewolfs of London is his best known work (or excitable boy). He was a singer and songwriter. He worked with Bob Dylan, David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, REM, Everly Brothers, ... He had a band with a couple of REM members called "Hindu love gods".
